Thanksgiving is about so much more than the turkey, and incorporating Thanksgiving into lesson plans can be difficult.
These activities are full of fun, and are a great way to teach help your kids learn! Here are 10 awesome Thanksgiving literacy activities for preschoolers.

Preschoolers are always learning. We don’t always realize it, but they are constantly picking up new information.
At my house, we say, “the recorder is always on.” You know what I mean by that. You and your spouse are talking about something and you think your kids aren’t listening, and then on the way to Taekwondo three weeks late your kid repeats that thing you had been talking about.
Yeah, I know that’s happened to you, too.
The point is that preschoolers not only love to learn, but they are always learning, (even if sometimes we don’t want them to).
So, this fall, foster a preschooler’s insatiable love of learning even during the holiday season with these fun Thanksgiving literacy activities!
